Chuao Venezuela, 2006
A small but world-famous little town inland a couple of bays over from Puerto Columbia.
Famous for two reasons: its cocoa beans are supposed to be some of the best in the world and the whole place is surrounded by cocoa plantations.
Secondly it has an annual town festival of the "Dancing Devils", one of those afro-catholic fusions of drums, dancing and dressup devils that you see throughout the old Spanish and French colonies of the New World.
